I mentioned in\u00a0the original\u00a0article,\u00a0that the F8 Facebook conference was due to start today, and that the Oculus release date would have been officially announced.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Facebook announced that the Oculus Go would be launching immediately all over the world (if you want, you can even order one\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oculus.com\/go\/\">HERE <\/a>).\u00a0Since the announcement, there has been a lot of chatter about MelodyVR, the main subsidiary of EVR Holdings:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/news\/best-oculus-go-apps\">Best Oculus Go games and apps: the best experiences for your standalone VR headset<\/a> @ TechRadar<br \/>\nTechRadar has identified MelodyVR as one of the Oculus Go&#8217;s &#8216;best&#8217; experiences<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ddso1y9cJOQ\">MelodyVR | Oculus Go<br \/>\n<\/a>The official Oculus Youtube channel has posted a video of MelodyVR. It&#8217;s clear that MelodyVR is considered a leading app on the Oculus. To put things in perspective, the Oculus channel posted 9 videos today so far to coincide with the launch; the MelodyVR video was one of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oculus.com\/blog\/introducing-the-oculus-go-launch-lineup-more-than-1000-titles-available-now\/\">Oculus website<\/a><br \/>\nMelodyVR is again mentioned on the official Oculus website as one of the key apps of the device<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oculus.com\/experiences\/go\/1168045643267750\/\">MelodyVR&#8217;s oculus page<\/a><br \/>\nThe app already a rating of around 4 1\/2 out of 5, and the first reviewer has said the following<br \/>\n<strong><em>&#8220;This app is a game changer. The sound quality and varying viewpoints create a near real show experience. You can literally smoke on stage with Wiz and dance under confetti with KISS. So fun &#8211; can\u2019t wait to see what other artists and venues are added!&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/the-switch\/wp\/2018\/05\/01\/oculus-go-is-the-first-vr-gadget-you-might-actually-buy\/?noredirect=on\">Oculus Go is the first VR gadget you might actually buy<\/a>\u00a0@ the Washington Post<br \/>\nThe Washington Post highlights that the Oculus Go is the headset that could become mass market and mentions MelodyVR as one of the key apps<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-slot=\"5410859267\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3153294147011912\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>I also mentioned yesterday that there was a \u00a320m placing that would have diluted the share price by 10% and could have resulted in a temporary retreat in the share price. The share price did retreat a little today, but bounced back to end at around 18p!<\/p>\n<p>It will be really interesting to see where the share price LON:EVRH goes over the next couple of days and weeks as MelodyVR officially launches. \u00a0Although the market\u00a0cap of just over \u00a3200m is high for a company that is still in pre-revenue,\u00a0earnings could rapidly increase depending on the success of the Oculus headset.\u00a0 It must also be remembered that MelodyVR will also run on the HTC Vive and\u00a0Playstation VR as well (the Playstation VR already has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2017\/12\/07\/sony-sold-2-million-psvr-units-in-over-one-year\/\">over 2 million headsets sold<\/a>)!<\/p>\n<p>Interesting times ahead\u00a0indeed &#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>As always though, please do your own research before buying\/selling this share; the opinions above are only my personal views and should not be considered as advice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Given the current buzz around MelodyVR, I\u00a0want to follow up on yesterday&#8217;s article\u00a0about EVR Holdings (LON:EVRH).
